Larsen & Toubro stock rises 1.24% after securing a Rs 1,000-2,500 crore offshore order from ONGC

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. is up 1.24% to Rs 3995.0 today, building on recent gains and rising 0.35% over the last one week.

Larsen & Toubro’s Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has secured a large offshore order from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Additional Development of Ratna –I (ADR I) and NLM -14 project, involving engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) work for new platforms, pipelines, and modifications to existing offshore installations. The value of the order falls within the company’s “Large” classification, ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 Cr, and is intended to enhance production from ONGC's offshore assets, as announced by the company on September 9, 2026. Larsen & Toubro, a USD 32 billion multinational, highlighted the project's significance in supporting India's offshore energy infrastructure and underscored its experience in delivering complex offshore EPCIC solutions.

Trading volume reached 14.02 lakh shares today, a 7.3% increase compared to the average volume over the last one week. Larsen & Toubro Ltd. posted a modest gain of 13.33% year-over-year, outperforming the 4.59% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
